Prior to that she co-founded and ran a large-scale boys and girls lacrosse club in the Bay Area for 10 years. As Operations & Events Manager for ADVNC Lacrosse she organized events and managed travel and logistics for coaches, players and families. She was also an academic and physical education teacher for over 10 years. Through these experiences she developed a passion for team-building through sports and outdoor activities. She was able to foster and harness a sense of teamwork among many groups using the context of sports, healthy lifestyles and outdoors activities.
